Our Story:
A Vision Rooted in Safety and Innovation
The idea of IoTwin™ was born when Andrew Zickell identified a critical gap in safety solutions for active shooter incidents—one that could be significantly mitigated through digital twin technologies integrated with gunshot detectors. Driven by a deep commitment to public safety, Andrew aimed to empower first responders to act faster and more effectively during emergencies.
To bring this vision to life, he partnered with Ori Wald, a specialist in technology, business development, security, intelligence, and cybersecurity. Together, they envisioned a broader, unified platform that would redefine safety and operational management. What began as a bold concept soon materialized into IoTwin™.
Their collaboration expanded with the addition of passionate innovators and technology leaders, including Yoram Tiarjan, Per Hanssen, and Robert Bou, who brought invaluable expertise to the team. The business development division gained further strength with seasoned leaders such as Dean Remy, Peter Rock, Paul Nederhoed, and James Roe. Product leadership was anchored by Susan Williams, as VP of Product Management, as Adam Brejieh took charge as Head of Customer and Technical Support.
The establishment of the advisory board added a powerhouse team with deep expertise in insurance, technology, facility management, and public safety. Expertise tailored to drive IoTwin’s growth and success.
